![]() WORDS OF ADVICE FOR COMPETITORS: Be yourself. Be humble. Work really hard.
CARDIO: I enjoy all types of cardio including running, cycling, stair mill climbing, incline walking, jumping rope, and running stadium stairs. Changing it up keeps my mind fresh and engaged. Cross training and high intensity interval training is the best conditioning for my body giving me the most value for my time.
BODY PART TO WORK: Back and shoulders.
FOOD SOURCE: Whole Foods and Costco
CONTEST PREP FOOD: My meals consist of tilapia, cod, chicken breast, oatmeal, sweet potato, spinach, asparagus, cucumber, celery, french beans, and lots of water. I truly look and feel the best eating this way
READING MATERIAL: My Bible and daily devotional. I also enjoy 'Oxygen' and 'Muscle and Fitness Hers'. My favorite 'cookbook' is finding recipes on www.allrecipes.com.
COMPETITIVE SPORTS: In high school I ran
track and did hurdles. My big love, however, is riding dressage horses.
PROUDEST MOMENTS: Giving birth to my
daughters. HOBBIES: Working out, volunteering at my children's school, Women's Bible studies.
